Rosangela Loureiro, the wife of ex-Atletico Madrid star Cleber Santan, said they would 'unite in their grief' and help each other through the tragedy.
She said: "Some of us are even going to live together in the same house to get through this and face each day together."
Brazilian side Chapecoense were on their way to face Atletico Nacional for the Copa Sudamericana when their aircraft ran out of fuel on Monday.
Some of the team had planned a group holiday to the Dominican Republic to celebrate their success.
Rosangela had got a heart tattoo on her shoulder to mark the year and said other WAGs were going to do the same.
But she added: "Now we're all united in grief and loss, not the way we wanted."
